Frequently Asked Questions about Van Leasing (FAQ)
How much does it cost to lease a van from Porsche Bank?
The monthly leasing payment depends on the model, the term, the mileage and any initial deposit. You can calculate the exact terms individually using Porsche Bank’s car4me leasing calculator – subject to creditworthiness and subject to change
Are van leasing payments for businesses tax-deductible?
Yes. Lease payments for vans used for business purposes can be claimed in full as business expenses for tax purposes with Porsche Bank. Unlike with passenger cars, there is no luxury tax on commercial vehicles. Furthermore, the vehicle has no impact on the balance sheet and affects neither the equity ratio nor the bank rating. Please note: Please discuss your individual situation with your tax adviser.
Which vans are available to lease from Porsche Bank?
Porsche Bank’s portfolio mainly comprises vehicles from the VW Commercial Vehicles range: the VW Caddy, VW California, VW ID. Buzz, VW Amarok, VW Transporter and VW Crafter. Many of the vehicles are already registered and ready for immediate collection.
What are the possible terms and mileage figures?
Porsche Bank offers leasing contracts with terms ranging from 36 to 60 months. For commercial vehicles, mileage packages ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 km per year are available. Any excess mileage is charged at contractually agreed rates – so it pays off to agree on a realistic mileage allowance.
What happens at the end of the lease term?
With Porsche Bank’s residual value leasing, there are three options available: return the vehicle and take out a new lease, extend the contract, or purchase the vehicle at the agreed residual value. With a rental lease, there is no purchase option – the vehicle is returned without any further obligation.
For business customers, there are two options: with pool leasing, the vehicle is returned to the lessor’s vehicle pool; with operating leasing, the contract also ends without a purchase option, but additional services such as maintenance and insurance are often included.
